I have a Power BI report that includes a PowerApp Visual. The PBI report is stored in PBI Service within my company's primary O365 PowerPlatform Environment. Because we are not allowed admin rights to that Environment, I created a separate Environment in order to create a Dataverse table that I could then use to feed my PowerApp for the visual. This means the PBI Report is in one environment, and the PowerApp/Dataverse table are in a separate environment.
The Dataverse table is set up in DirectQuery mode in the PBI Report. A user enters comments in the PowerApp visual and I can see submissions in real time in a table visual when I'm in PBI Desktop. However, when I publish the pbix file to the PBI Service in O365 Environment, the PowerApp visual works but I get an error on the Direct Query table visual that says it can't display the data. Simultaneously, PBI Service gives an error that says "No gateway available" and the Dataset has an error that reads "One or more cloud data sources for this dataset have been deleted." Screenshots below.
After some guess and check, I figured out that these errors are only triggered when I include the table visual that is showing the Dataverse table submissions. The PowerApp visual is working in PBI service because I can see submissions back in the PBI Desktop when I manually refresh. I just can't see the table visual in PBI service. Is there a solution for this? Could it be related to the fact that PBI report and Power App/Dataverse are in two separate environments?

Hi @RJDallas ,
What type of gateway are you using? As you can check the below screenshot the personal gateway don't support the data sources with direct query/live connection mode.
In addition, you can refer the following official documentation to make troubleshooting and check whether you can get solution there.
Troubleshoot gateways and similar solutions
If the problem is still not resolved, please point it out and provide related error info screenshoots. Looking forward to your feedback.

Stephen
