Power BI schedule refresh issue with Python

Hello All,

I am not able to enable schedule refresh in Power Bi Service. I have used python to do some transformations inside Power Query in Power Bi Desktop. Here are the snapshots where it is asking for some authentication method. I am not using any On-premises. When i am trying to select "Organizational" in privacy level setting then it is simply loading and doesn't moves ahead. Can anyone please help in resolving it asap. Thanks!

Hi  @Shahashesh ,

You can check to see if privacy levels are consistent across Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Does the refresh on Power BI Desktop work fine, if that fails too, you can clear cache and re-add credentials in Datasource and republish to Power BI Service.

You may check if the gateway is the latest version, install the latest gateway and try again.

Python data sources require a personal gateway, you need a Personal Gateway installed on the machine where the file is located, and where Python is installed.

Thank you for the response.

Privacy Levels are consistent across Pbi desktop and service. Power Bi Desktop is refreshing without any issues. I am not using any on-premises environment, source file is in client sharepoint where my credentials are working perfectly when published in service. Python is just used for some transformations in Power Query. Is it really required personal gateaway to be install?

Any workaround to fix the issue?
