Power BI row level security

Hi,

I'm are trying to give members row level security to a specifice role. I'm able to add them to the correct role but they see no data. The data pulls though for me with Access All Areas access but not them although they have access to other roles.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciqted.

In Power BI Desktop, check what filtering you have applied to each role.  If they are seeing no data, its possible your filtering statements are incorrect.  Power BI Desktop will let you "View As" to test the roles.

If the roles work as intended in Power BI desktop, next you'll need to make sure you've assigned the users/groups to the role in the Power BI service.  If you are using a deployment pipeline, these security assignments are not carried across the environments and would need to be set manually when first deployed.

RLS is only applied to Viewers in the WS
