UTC conversion - Desktop to Service

Hi,

Sorry, I am still struggling with UTC conversion solutions.

I am in a UTC +12 tiemzone but any forumla I seem to build on desktop breaks in PBI service.

Has anyone got a robust workaround for how to handle to UTC time issue from desktop to service to allow relative date filters to work in both environments?

Thanks

Tristan

I would recommend building a date table in Power Query and having your measures make detireminations based on meta data you place into that table.  You could do things such as flag the current date in that table.  You will still need to consider UTC in Power Query, but this is going to be easier as you can take the UTC date now and add 12 hours.  You will likely also need to strip the timezone from the date if you run into any issues.
