I am populating the (dynamic) target value of one of my Power BI goals from a secondary goal.
I would like to create a check-in for every month for the past - sorry for the dumb question, but where do I begin?
I am populating today the values for the current datapoint ( goal current value timestamp), getting the target from the secondary goal and creating a check-in based on that. But can I use the goal current value timestamp as an input? Instead of just reading it to have the last datapoint? It seems to be that the "Get a goal" action does not have the possibility to be fed with a date, so in practice always giving back the value of the most recent timestamp.
Thanks a lot
Kind regards
Valeria
Hi Jay, I have a scorecard with goals. My goals need to have a dynamic target, which today is working properly for check-ins and history from what I have seen.
Therefore, for each goal I only have the "current" value set as dynamic against my PowerBI report, and the target is left empy. For each of these goals, I have a subgoal where the target is dynamic against a report. Every month, I use the subgoals to populate the main goals and the check-ins via PowerAutomate. This works every month, but only as of the month when I have started to do so. I cannot figure out via Powerautomate how to populate past check-ins...is there a way?
Thanks
Kind regards
