Power BI Service - unable to load RLS Roles

We have a report with RLS configured. All of a suddent the role asisgnment page has stopped working. There is no error but whenever we select "security" of the dataset it show "Loading Roles..." for a few minutes and does nothing and then comes back the ontent listng page! Any ideas anyone? By the way we had some external users assigned RLS access to the report. Thank for sharing your views.

If you still cannot access the Roles, I would if possible re-upload the PBIX file with the latest version of PBI Desktop.


If that still fails and it does not work I would then log a support request: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/

Thanks everyone. Microsoft Power Bi support has now applied a patch that has resoved our issue.

We've got the same issue. Contacted support who advised to delete and republish the report, which fixed the issue for 24 hours but now doing the same thing again.

Thanks. If we republish the same pbix file into a different workspace or same workspace but with a different name then it works fine. We have now logged a ticket with Microsoft.
