Hello experts,
I'm facing an issue when I embed a Power BI report, I'm passing the correct workspace id and report id, when I load the embeded page, the layout of the report gets visible, but it doesn't show any records into it and shows a pop-up message.I've attached the screenshot below.
When I open the report in workspace I'm easily able to run it, refresh the data set as well. (Pro version of workspace)
If I change the report from the same workspace it is working correctly.
I hope if someone can help me with this.

Hi @v-kpoloju-msft , @ibarrau
Thank you so much for your answers.
The issue has been solved, the issue was with the RLS's parameter name, the name of the parameters were not matching in the c# code and the power bi, that was the reason behind this error. When I corrected the name it was working as expected.
Hi @Poojara_D12,

Thank you.
Thank you so much for your reply, unfortunately the issue is still not solved.
I tried to check an other report from the same workspace in where this report is published which I want to embed, the other report is working as expected, but the one which I developed is not working. I checked all the configurations and the settings of that report which is working with mine, nothing is different in it.
Also, when I refresh my report in the workspace with on demand refresh, it refreshes the dataset and there is no issue in it, but while embedding, it shows this error (above attached in screenshot) for data model.
I'm not sure what's going wrong with it.
Hi @Poojara_D12,
After thoroughly reviewing the details you provided, I have identified alternative workarounds that may help resolve the issue. Please follow these steps:
Ensure that the data source credentials are set up correctly and that the embedded service has the necessary access to connect. In many cases, the issue isn't with the report itself but rather with the data source permissions.
Try using tools like Fiddler or your browser's developer tools (F12) to monitor network traffic while embedding the report. This can help identify any errors or failed requests, providing more insight into what might be causing the issue.
Make sure the dataset ID is correctly linked to the embedded report. If the dataset binding isn’t set up properly, it can lead to issues with retrieving data.
Check for any issues within the data model itself. Sometimes, errors in the data model can prevent it from being accessed properly when embedded.
Try making a small update to the report, such as renaming it and then republishing. This simple step can sometimes resolve issues where the report isn’t displaying correctly when embedded.
Ensure that the report and dataset are in a workspace with the appropriate licensing, such as Power BI Pro or Premium, to support embedding.

Hi. Are you passing the identities with the effective identity? once the report has RLS you should include a role to make it load.
I hope that helps,
