Cannot load Model PowerBi Service

Hey Guys, I am facing belor when opening Report on PowerBI Service. Any idea what can be the issue? The symantic model seams to be updating fine.

  • Hey dhandevinit
    Try this steps:

    • Verify server connectivity to make sure there are no network or firewall problems and that the Power BI Service can access the data source.
    • Model Version Mismatch: Verify that the Power BI Service has the most recent version of the dataset and report.
    • Verify that the user has the required permissions for the dataset and the report.
    • Problems with the gateway (for on-premise data sources): If you are using on-premises data sources, make sure the Power BI Gateway is operating properly.

    Hi dhandevinit

Verify Credentials & Refresh: Check data source credentials and ensure refresh is successful.

Optimize Model Size: Reduce model complexity or switch to Import Mode if needed.

Check Permissions: Ensure the user has the necessary access and roles to view the report.

Check Service Status: Verify if there are any known Power BI service outages or performance issues.

Investigate Model Dependencies: Check for any broken connections or missing data sources

Re-Publish the Report: Re-publish from Power BI Desktop to ensure synchronization with the Power BI Service.

  • My mistake, It needed permission to the server. I was using two accounts and one of them was not added to DB server.
