I have problem with data gateway, I'm really understand that we have a lot of post with this subject, and I'm check all of them, on top check all info in internet related to this, but still can't solve my problem.
My case is very specific I think because I use scheduled refresh about 6 month, and have zero errors during this period.
But now about 1 month I'm really bored trying to solve this, it's started from 5-6 of Feb'22
Let me share wity you some data for more clear understanding of my problem, I have SQL server on virtual machine which ON during 24/7 and Data gateway (not personal mode), so as i say previosly I'm never faced with this problem during 6 month, all working good, zero errors.
But one day when I see that data not updated, I check PBI and see this error --- "Your data gateway is offline or couldn't be reached."
Firstly i check my data gateway connection - it's ok, i check my credentials they ok too.
Then i try to make on demand refresh and all is working good.
So what we have now, I create couple scheduled refresh to test system with 30 mins between each other, so for example some time i see that:
1st refresh - failed, 2nd - completed, 3rd - failed again.
Some time all 3 attemts can be failed, or 1st and 2nd is failed and 3rd completed.
I think that maybe problem in my gateway version, i update gateway to last version. I'm trying restart it from services. But problem still stay.
After all this attempts i can't reach stable work as previously, it's very interesting and confusing because, I'm not make any chages, how all system can properly work during 6 month without any issues, and just in 1 day ruined all.
By the way I'm also try make refresh using API (Power Automate) but get same problem, some time it's work some time not.
Kindly ask you share with me your solutions, are you faced with such problem, what i must to do?
