Hello!
I have a report that has been published to web, and I was hoping to use Power Automate to create an export button so that the end users (anyone in the world since it is published to web) can export the data (with the slicers they've added). I've followed a few youtube tutorials but found that this only saves to my OneDrive (we don't have a SharePoint page), or that I need to specify WHO the email goes to in my flow.
Does anyone know how to get the flow working so that anyone in the world can click the button and it saves as a new file in your downloads folder (or elsewhere to your desktop) rather than on a cloud-based service?
Thanks for the insights!
Hi,
I think you need a on-prem gateway to get the file to local. Please refer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=japxQqabFgQ
Thanks
Hari
Hi Hari,
Thanks for sending this video. Unfortunately I think this is a less obvious way for end-users to get the exported data from the report. I was hoping that there would be a way to have a downloaded version pop up (like when you go to any other website), or have it emailed to them (though it seems like there is no way to have end-users insert their email addresses).
If you run across anything else that might work, please let me know!
