Power App update table visual automatically

I created a power app (on the left side of the screen above) that updates a SQL server database table. The top right visualization is pulling data automatically in Power BI in service (this is a direct query setup in Power BI). So, as soon as I press add name in power app the name it pops up in the table above. This part works beautifully.

To give you a background, my company wants to add number of names in the app and see how many people are currently employed with the company and generate a list of names. At the same time, they want a separate list of people who do not work with the company. The first part works fine because I have access to db table that has people who are currently employed (this is also a direct query in Power BI). However, I want to generate a list of people who do not work with the company. For this I created a new table in Power BI which uses “except” DAX statement. However, this does not automatically update the table in Power BI service. Also, the only way I can update the DAX table (with people who are not currently employed) is in Power BI desktop when I run the refresh button. Otherwise it remains static.

Is there a way to automatically update/refresh a list of people who do not work for the company?

The current system does not support automatic update of apps.

You can post your idea to Ideas . https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/

Or you can configure the app to be updated after a scheduled refresh for the report, or automatic page refresh if the data is connected in direct query mode.

Not by itself. You also need APR.

Now - your business scenario doesn't sound like it absolutely requires real time updates. You might have a much easier process if you would use regular import mode and occasional refreshes.
