PostgreSQL Personal Gateway Data Source credentials error

Hello,

When trying to schedule a dataset through a personal GW - the PostgreSQL datasource throws error when I enter the credentials:

"Failed to update data source credentials: An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond"

The enterprise gateway is working OK, the problem is in the personal gateway...

An update - the refresh is working with ODBC and Personal Gateway

So it is something with PostgreSQL connector, maybe npgsql driver?

But the connector is working when I run Desktop.

So the problem is just in the combination of Personal GW & Connector

I will open a ticket, but first maybe someone is experiencing this too?

What is the reason for using the personal gateway?

I would suggest where ever you can using the Enterprise Gateway

I agree, but my Enterprise Gateway is currently being used and played with outher team so I cannot rely on it.

I still expect my Personal Gateway to work...

How do I solve the problem?

The solution there was to change postgreSQL connector to ODBC

I want to do it with postgreSQL connector.

And my credentials are OK - everything works in the Enterprise GW.

Also the Personal is working ok with SQL Server

So something is not OK in the service with mixture of (personal GW + postgreSQL)...

@GilbertQ Sure Gilbert, I have already wrote that above:

Another team is playing around the Enterprise Gateway now - they are resseting it, uninstalling etc.

I cannot rely on it.

I need the Personal Mode - it should work, too...

What about if you re-install your personal gateway mode with the Enterprise Gateway mode?

I cannot have 2 Enterprise GateWays simultaneously...

Enterprise GW is not relevant.

I am looking for a Personal GW solution. It should work...
