Hello,
My users noticed that their reports are not remembering the filters they've applied. Once they close the report, it will set their filters back to the default.
I tried for myself, on Edge and Chrome, and it does not work for me as well. I tried in on a report in a workspace, and a report from a published app. The "Reset to default" does highlight once I make filter changes, so it acts as if the persistent filters feature is activated. But it goes back to default once I close the browser window.
The option to "Don't allow end user to save filters on this report." is NOT checked. We want to have persistent filters. I do believe this has worked previously, so not sure what has changed.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to resolve it?
Thanks!

Hi @nkintanar80
Have you gone into the Report Settings and made sure that the setting below is disabled?
Hi Gilbert,
Yes, I have checked that and the setting is disabled so I am unsure of why it is not working.
I would check with the report author to see if it is disabled in their Power BI desktop version?
I checked, on the report file, the option to "Don't allow end user to save filters on the this file in the Power BI service" is unchecked, which is what we want I believe.
I will republish the report and see if it helps.
I've also just noticed it seems to be the custom visuals that aren't being persistent, whereas the slicer visuals are.
Hey - did you have any luck?
I've noticed it works fine in the Workspace but not in the App
