Hi there,
I created a paginated report in the service from an existing report data set which I then created a subscription for. The output for the subscription is excel.
In the report, I use date and time fields which have been converted from UTC time to Australian Daylight Saving Date and Time. As the screenshot below indicates the report presents the date and the times as expected.
However, as per the following screenshot, when the subscription is received, the dates are in US format and the time is in a decimal format that can't be converted back to a time.
Any advice on how to get the Excel output to equal the service version of date and times would be appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,
The Excel output format uses the default US format for dates and numbers. This can cause problems when the date format is different from the US format, such as dd/mm/yyyy, or when the time format is not hh:mm:ss.
One possible workaround is to use a different output format for your subscription, such as PDF or PowerPoint, which should preserve the formatting of your report.
Another possible workaround is to use custom expressions in your report to format the date and time fields as text, so that Excel does not try to convert them to its own format. For example, you can use the FORMAT function and the Excel-style formatting to format your date and time fields as text.

Thanks for the info about how to solve this problem.
BUT crazy that it exists in the first place.
C'mon, why are we not allowing for these differences in the reporting??? It's so frustrating!
(Not your fault, I just don't understand why this kind of stuff is not supported).
