Hello guys!
I am in face in some issue with PBI report using a Oracle database as data source.
Basically, I’ve created a report connected on Oracle database using PBI Desktop, I can work with this report with PBI Desktop, but after publish this report I am not able to see the report using PBI Service (with My Workspace). I got an error message: “Couldn't load the model schema. See details”
Please, take a look the screenshots below.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @lgargano,
Please check the detailed error message via clicking "See details".
This could happen if the data source was removed, renamed, moved, offline, or permissions have changed. Please check that the source is still in the location we are pointing to and you still have permission to access it. If that isn't the issue, the source may be slow. Try again later during a time when the load on the source is smaller.
By the way, if using import mode to connect to Oracle, does issue persist on service?

Hi, @v-yulgu-msft
Thanks for your awnser!
I've clicked on error message and I got the error below:
I am 100% sure that the data source is OK because I can make the query on database and also I can see the data by PBI Desktop. I can not use option import mode, I need this info in real-time, so I used option direct query.
Thanks!
Leonardo.
Hi @lgargano,
The error message prompts that "Cannot connect to gateway data source", did you configure gateway in your scenario?

Yuliana Gu
