PBI Service refresh empty columns

Hi All,

Who can help me with a refresh problem in the PowerBi Service. So when i am working in the PBI desktop and i refresh the dataset there is no problem all the tables contains refreshed tables. When i upload the file to a workspace with the right gateway and credentials and i refresh the dataset some columns get empty. Does anybody has a idea, let me know thanks!

- i checked a couple of things allready

- The first time when i upload the file there is data in pbi service after the first refresh the data in a couple of columns is empty.

- i Uploaded only 1 table where this happens still the same result in the pbi service

Hi, @delmayhan

This issue can be caused by an inconsistent date format between the Power BI Desktop and Power BI services. Make sure that the date column is formatted correctly in the query editor. When refreshed in the Power BI service, they may invert the day and month, with the day showing as the month and the month as the day. Changing the column type from Text to Date might fix the issue.

Hi @v-yohua-msft

The field Expected Launch Year is just a text data type. which shows the year for example 2024,2025,2026 without any date.

Hi, @delmayhan

Can you provide more details with your desired output and pbix file without privacy information (or some sample data)?

Best Regards

Hi @v-yohua-msft

there are also other columns which don't have data after the refresh.
