Hello,
I've downloaded several reports using Live-Connection function:
Although some of the users are telling me that they can't access the report as a message pops informing something like
"Can't access underlying dataset and so on"
I've go into Dastaset - Manage Permissions - Added the user as Workspace Viewer -> DONE
Users have PBI PRO License -> DONE
Although it doesn't seem to work. Any clue on what's going on here?
Thanks a lot
Carl
Hi @carlovskyit
You need to add the users to the dataset not the workspace. Go to the dataset in question(there are 3...), click on Manage permissions the a new page Will open where you can add users

Hi @carlovskyit ,
Here are some suggestions that might help you resolve the issue:
(1)Make sure that the users have the Build permission for the dataset that you are using for your reports.
(2)Make sure that the users have signed in to Power BI with the same credentials that have access to the dataset.
(3)Make sure that the users have enabled the Power BI Service Live Connection preview feature in their Power BI Desktop.
(4)Make sure that the users have enabled the DirectQuery for PBI datasets and AS preview feature and the Connect to external datasets shared with me preview feature in their Power BI service tenant settings.
Best Regards,
Neeko Tang
