Organization score

Hi everyone,

In the microsoft 365 admin center you can get the product reports into Power Bi service. After that you can download the Pbix file and open it in Power Bi Desktop. So far so good.

What i need is the adoption score and more import your organization scores. I can't find them in the pbix. I have a nice powerbi dashboard but i really need the organization scores. Can i add them to the dashboard or are they already there and i didn't look good enough?

Hi @mvdkolk,

The standard template app relies on the M365 Usage Reporting API, which tracks raw deployment totals and active user counts (e.g., Teams active users, OneDrive storage). The Adoption Score and Organization Scores are calculated by a completely separate benchmarking engine and must be pulled into your model manually.

2 ways to add them to your dashboard -

Method 1: Connect directly to the Graph API

You can pull these scores straight into your Power BI Desktop model using the native Web connector:

Method 2: Manual CSV Export

  • If you just need a snapshot for an upcoming presentation and want to avoid API permissions:
  • Log into the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Navigate to Setup ➔ Reports ➔ Adoption Score.
  • Click the Export button in the top corner to download your historical score trends as a CSV file.
  • Import that CSV directly into your PBIX file as a new data source.

Let me know how it goes!
