Currently working to bring in data into a lakehouse by using a notebook with python code with REST APIs. I have done all of the tests in postman and powershell which have been successful, however when executing the notebook from the power bi service I am receiving the 401 Authorization Required message. Our oracle PBCS instance does have a network whitelist and I am wondering if it has to do with the ip for the power bi service not being part of that list. Any thoughts as to where the ip for the power bi service could be found? Also open to any other suggestions or places to look.

Hello @PBIJoe
You are on the right track
.Power BI Service operates on Azure infrastructure, and its IP ranges are dynamic and region-specific. If your Oracle PBCS instance has a network whitelist, you need to ensure that the IP ranges used by Power BI Service in your region are allowed.
• Azure Datacenter IP Ranges:
Microsoft provides a downloadable JSON file containing Azure’s IP ranges. This file is updated weekly to reflect changes. You can download it from Microsoft’s official site (search for “Azure IP Ranges and Service Tags – Public Cloud”) and filter the ranges relevant to your region and services like Power BI.
• Dynamic Nature of IPs: Since these IPs change frequently, you might need to automate updates to your whitelist or use a service tag like `PowerBI`.
