On Premises Data gateway configuration with O365 Free Trail Account.

Hi Guys,

I have created O365 free trial account which i am using for Power BI Service too but I am getting an error as  "Failed to login. Please verify your credentials and try again" while trying to configure the On-Premises data gateway(Personal mode).

I have created O365 account with custom domain, like abc.onmicrosoft.com and my email id which I am using to login to Data gateways is sort of abcd@abc.onmicrosoft.com

I have also assigned Power BI licence to this user.

If anyone could help,  I would be so grateful.

It turned out be the security level is set to high in IE which somehow blocked the SSO authentication.

Please try to go to I.E. --> Security --> Custom Level --> User Authentication --> select Prompt for user name and password.
