Hi,
I need help with configuring RLS on my DataSet which is created via DirectQuery to my SQLMI Database.
I referred to the following link to setup the necessary RLS configuration: -
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-rls
Unfortunately, I could not get it working.
When I tested the role with the test function, it works. But, execute the report with the respective User Logon assigned to a specific Role, it does not seem to work.
Where have I gone wrong if I have followed the steps provided in the documented link : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-rls
Thanks.

HI @laikittmun
This could possibly be because of the permissions on the workspace you have the Report in.
In a workspace only "viewers" are subject to RLS, if your user is acessing the Report with "Contributor", "Member" or "Admin" rights in the workspace they are NOT subject to RLS so will see all the data.
Check the user's workspace permissions.
Hope this helps
