The previous answers helped me address one issue, but now I am left withthe following:
We have been using PowerBi for a few months.
We have a dataset modeled in Desktop which is successfully published to PowerBi cloud.
The dataset successfull updates in PowerBI Online, and the automatic report linked to that dataset with the same name as the dataset updates both data and FORMATS with no problems.
When I go into PowerBI online, and can see both data and FORMATTING updates on the report that has the same name as the data set.
However all the 60 odd other reports that are based on that core orginal report, that were created for our different branches across the business, the FORMATTING changes made in the desktop file are not updating at all, even though the data changes are OK.
Any thoughts on why this is?
Thanks
Brett
I think it's intentional that formatting changes don't get pushed through to the other reports. I'm pretty sure that if you want those changed, you'll have to go into each report and change them individually.
