I have asked before about the possibility of customizing what data is included in the underlying data export and I realize that this is not possible? However, can someone explain to me the logic behind what data is included? There are columns that are included that I definitely do not need, but then some columns which should be included but aren't. Even if I have to deal with some unnecessary columns, I would like to know how to get these needed columns to be included.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Your requirement is to add or delete some column when you export underly data from a visualization, right? I'm afraid this can't be achieved currently in power bi. For more details about the limitation, you may refer to: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-export-data#export-underlying-data-details.

Thank you, @v-yuta-msft. That was helpful. I think the best solution is simply to create a table that can be exported rather than relying on exporting underlying data.
