Hi there,
I use Azure Map in Power BI Desktop and it looks fine. I use "country": "AU" and postcode for each location.
However, after publishing it to Power BI Service, the dashboards in both Workspace and the app become:
Some of the AU locations fall into other countries.
Is this an issue in Power BI Service?

Hi @KylieF,
Thank you @Akash_Varuna , for your response regarding the issue. These steps may resolve your query and additionally, trying the following steps may help you resolve the issue.
Provide more detailed location information, including City, State, and Country along with the Postcode.
Ensure the Azure Maps Visual feature is enabled in Power BI Service Settings (Admin Portal > Tenant settings).
Verify that the regional settings for your dataset in Power BI Service are set to Australia (Settings > Datasets > Regional Settings).
Save and republish your report to Power BI Service after making these changes.
Please Accept as solution if this meets your needs and a Kudos would be appreciated.
Regards,
Sahasra.
Hi @v-sgandrathi ,
Thank you for your reply. But the issue isn't solved yet. Please see the result below:
I have followed your instructions:
"Provide more detailed location information, including City, State, and Country along with the Postcode." -- I addiontionally provide "address" column which is not very clean data and the dots on the map visual don't seem to have changed.
"Ensure the Azure Maps Visual feature is enabled in Power BI Service Settings (Admin Portal > Tenant settings)." -- This has been enabled.
"Verify that the regional settings for your dataset in Power BI Service are set to Australia (Settings > Datasets > Regional Settings)." -- Not all the locations are in Australia. There are a couple outside Australia. I think it doesn't make sense to set this one up.
