JasperSoft report(.jrxml) to PowerBI report builder(.rdl) - Migration

Hello everyone,

I would like to understand, is there any tool available to migrate Tibco JasperSoft report(.jrxml) to PowerBI report builder(.rdl) ?
Or it should be a manual process to re-create the similar report on PowerBI report builder?
Underlying datasource used as SQL server.

Any referal link or documents would be helpful.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi @Rajesh_2022 ,

I have found a similar post, please refer to it to see if it helps you.

  •  I don't think there is way to copy the relationship from jaspersoft to PowerBI but it should be easy since you already know how tables are connect, you have to bring those tables in PowerBI Data Model and set up the relationship. It is all going to be manual process.
  • you have to re-write those reports in PowerBI. I'm don't think (heard of) direct import of jaspersoft reports.
  • you can publish your model in powerbi service and then let other users connect to this published data model, it will get them one model to work with where you already have all the relationship up and running.
  • You need to use powerbi service to publish your report and then your users can use powerbi desktop to connect to data model published in the service.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thanks for your response!

Yes, I already gone through that post. But thought of checking, if there are any changes recently.

But based on your confirmation, I understand that there is no direct option.

Thank you.
