Is there an API to read the data shown in Power BI reports?

I am looking for an API so I can query the data that is displayed in Power BI reports. The use-case is that the report contains calculated metrics, and we want to programatically/continuously monitor those metrics to ensure they are and remain correct.

Right now we are able to continously monitor via API:

• The original data (eg let's say coming from a CRM)
• The data stored in Azure SQL (which is used by Power BI)

But we can't monitor:

• The calculated metrics inside the Power BI report

Is there an API to read the data shown in Power BI reports?

I looked at the Power BI API but it doesn't seem to give access to the data, only to allow managing resources:

I queried the relevant documentation but didn't find an API with this functionality, but Power BI has similar tools, you can refer to this:
