We have dozens of reports and expect to have close to a thousand across multiple projects, few thousands if you include pipelines.
One of the biggest annoyances is the fact that we need to go into the datasets configuration for each dataset in a workspace, expand Gateway connection and then set the Maps to value for every single dataset that points to our server.
The same goes for Scheduled refresh, which must be configured manually for every single dataset.
Questions:
- How can we default the Maps to value?
- How can we default the Scheduled refresh?
- Can we create a custom schedule and apply it to multiple reports?
- Right now we have to manually go from one report to the next and Add another time every half hour during our business hours
- We do this across over a dozen reports at the moment, but expect this to increase dramatically as I mentioned.
If no defaulting is possible, is this in the feature pipeline?
Dataset settings are quite manual right now and many of them can be applied a settings template at least... Would save a lot of time.
Makes managing these reports unmanageable as we scale up.
