I'm using an Input Slicer that I've added in the desktop version of my report. It both displays the placeholder text and the dropdown to update the filter operator.
When I published the report, both go away.
Per the input slicer learning page, the dropdown can be updated at any time.
Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone help me? Thanks!
Looks like the slicer has started working here in the US.
CA as well. 👍
They now have the bug recorded as a known issue as of March 2, 2026. Now we wait. 🤞

I've submitted a ticket and they are looking into this issue. I will post feedback once received.
Hi @sl6 ,
Thank you for submitting a support ticket. Once you got update from support team do let us know..

We are seeing the same issue this morning. Please let us know if Microsoft has an update.
Tested and i'm seeing the same thing. The Input Slicer operator dropdown is not exposed in the Service and Placeholder text changed after publishing... Neither could i find a way to configure this in Service. I'd suggest submiting a ticket to Msft.

Blog from Zoe Douglas, you will also see someone posted same feedback under her blog. @sl6
Same here. First time i see this kind of descrepancy between desktop and the service. Hope this will get resolved soon...
