Incremental refresh feature

Hi all

Thank you for your assistance always.

I am trying to use Dataflows incremental refresh feature  by following this guide. Using incremental refresh with dataflows - Power Query | Microsoft Learn.

The data source for Dataflow is share point folder (also tried share point list).

I set it as the capture that define a refresh policy to store one year of data in total and incrementally refresh one day of data.

I think the following actions should be carried out for refresh operation:

・Add a new day of data.

・Refresh 1 day, up to the current date.

・Remove calendar years that are older than one year before the current date.

↓

However, the refresh was not executed as defined.

Item that Date is 2020 was updated (not 1 day up to the current date) and did not remove calendar years that are older than one year before the current date.

Could you please kindly tell if my above understanding is correct? Is there any limit for the data source if want to use incremental refresh feature?

Hi, @Anonymous 

Please try manually refreshing the data by clicking 'Refresh Now' after the initial refresh.
Have you tried checking the "Refresh all day only" option?

I'm not sure Sharepoint supports query folding, did you get any message regarding that?

From more technical perspective - fo you have the parameters RangeStart and RangeEnd used for filtering the Sharepoint data?
