Incremental Refresh. Asking to set up new parameters, even though I created parameters

Hi.

I was implementing the concept of 'Incremental Refresh' where I am getting an error as to set up parameters whn i click on 'Incremental Refresh' option on the table.

I have applied the filter to the required column too.

Still I am getting that error.

I have attached the screenshot of those parametersa and the error.

If anyone can help, then please do.

Regards,

Sanket Bhagwat

Hi @SanketBhagwat Were you able to solve it with a premium account?

I am also facing a similar problem. I have a premium license and the toggle button for incremental refresh is greyed out and I cannot change it.

Hi @SanketBhagwat

I am glad that you can solve your problem. Here I will show more details about incremental refresh to you, I hope they could help you.

If you just want to refresh your dataset, you don't need Power BI Premium license.

For reference: Requirements

Incremental refresh is supported for Power BI Premium, Premium per user, Power BI Pro, and Power BI Embedded datasets.

However, if you want to use incremental refresh in other fields like dataflow, you need Power BI Premium license.

For more details about how to set incremental refresh, you may refer to this blog.

Rico Zhou

Hey @SanketBhagwat ,

I don't see any screenshot. Can you add that?

Did you name the parameters "RangeStart" and "RangeEnd" in Date/Time format as required?

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍

Best regards
Denis

Hey @selimovd .

I have solved that problem.

By the way, yes I did create those 2 parameters.

The problem was with the account.

This feature needed Premium Version, which I don't have.
