Wish to host a live PowerBI Service Dashboard. The Datasource is a Web API one that authentications through Headers using a Bearer Access Token (x-apikey-token).
Refreshing the data source throws this error:
Came across this threat with the last comment in 2019 stating this was not a supported feature: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/PowerBI-Web-Source-Data-Refresh/m-p/618215#M61757
Could someone please clarify if this is supported now - and what the best way to structure the WebContents function call is?
The credentials for data sources in the screenshots are by means of a Header API-Bearer Token. Does this value have to be always hard-coded in the query (in anonymous authentication), since the alternative methods do not work/throw errors.
Hi @Anonymous
>> scheduled refresh has been disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. to start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. then reactivate scheduled refresh
The error you are encountering now is not the same as the error in that post you attached, please go to this dataset's settings page, and enter credentials for all data sources
