We're looking to begin using Shared Datasets as the IT department and allow other departments to comsume those datasets. We've created a PBI report using Import Mode that is nothing more than the data, no visuals etc.
The files are large but not huge and are becoming difficult to manage. (Version Control and moving around files). I'd hoped I could purge the data once done, then allows the Portal to refresh the data there but that doesn't seem to be an option. Does anyone have experience with this and could suggest alternatives? The only real option I can see is to limit my queryies to TOP 100, refreshing and checking in that file, and then removing the TOP 100 before the portal refreshes.
Thanks for any suggestions.
