I am taking a training class that has us uploading an Excel document with multiple tables into Power BI Service, and the expected outcome is that the Dataset will contain multiple tables. However, it only has a single table from the workbook. The trainer does not know why this is happening, and it's happening for everyone in the class, so presumably there's some issue with the workbook. The workbook contains four sheets, with each sheet containing a separate Table with a unique name.
I've looked at forums and documentation and can't find much about how this feature works (or might not work) in this scenario. Any thoughts?

Open the spreadsheet in Excel, go to Data -> Queries & Connections -> delete the connection listed there. Save.
Delete the dataset from Power BI service and try importing again. It should work now.

Yes, this works fine in Power BI Desktop, but Power BI Service (at least the trial I'm using) does not find the other tables.
I published it to Power BI service and it still worked fine for me. I'm using PBI Desktop version 2.71 (July 2019); not sure if that makes a difference.

Did you publish from PBI Desktop or use Get Data->Files->Local File->Import from PBI Service? I'm doing the latter.
