How to display the categorical value as text in PowerBI metric (goal)

Hi,

According to the PowerBI June 2022 Update by selecting the categorical value and setting up the list: A,B,C etc , the value of the goal should display the category text.

In my testing, it displays the value as a number like 1/1   or 2/0. 

Is this a bug? is someone experiencing the same issue?

Over a year later and I still do not see this either.

Have we given up on trying to implement this?

This would be a very welcome enhancement, since I am sure many companies have non-numeric metrics.

Same problem here, in the Power BI June 2022 Feature Summary | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI under "Power BI Metrics updates", Milestones and Bulk Updating is available but Categorical Metrics is not.

I have as well a problem with "categorical" because such value is not visible to me so I cannot set the value "categorical" for a metric in my scorecard. how can I solve it? tks for your help

yes, it is under Metrics, Categorical Metrics
