Hi ,
We wanted to migrate our gateway cluster from one server to another. All the datasources are pointing to new gateway instance , but there are few datasources which are pointing to old gateway instance and throwing below error, although old gateway instance is completely removed.
Is there any way to delete old gateway instance completely?
Thanks

Hi ankbaner,
Please check if you have removed the old gateway in gateway cluster. To remove a gateway, you can click Settings->Manage gateways, then select a gateway and click the ellipse on the right hand of the gateway, finally click remove.
You can also refer to this similar case:

Hi @v-yuta-msft
Thanks for replying, I already removed the old Gateway from gateway clusters, thats why I am not sure how datasources are pointing to old gateway instance. Is there any way to delete a gateway instance completely ?
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous,
Have you use personal gateway for this?
Hi @Anonymous,
I am not using "Personal mode" on-premise data gateway.
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous,
I have seen a similar issue with Gateway connections being ghosted and you cannot delete them unless you re-create the gateway connection. You might consider opening a support ticket with the issue.

I have never deleted a gateway intentionally so I can't say I have seen this issue.
Hi @Anonymous,
Thank you for your reply. Finally. I am able to delete the instance of the gateway by running powershell script.
