Hi guys,
I have been trying to see if its possible to create dynamic progressbar in Powerbi.
I have created 2 rectangular shapes.
- 1st box is to form the background of the progressbar width 500px
- 2nd box is to show the actual progress and I have manually set the width of the bar to visualise the progress. (Percentage / width 500px) I have also added some text in this bar to display the percentage.
How can I get the 2nd box to read from the dataset and update the width and also update the text?
Lets say I have a dataset read from an excelfile called Tasks with a column of Status there status can be Completed which should build this progressbar...
I tried using something like this to start from but not sure if that is correct...
TaskProgress = COUNTROWS(FILTER(Tasks,[Status] = "Completed"))
Thanks!

Hi @frippex ,
The length and width of the rectangle can only be changed manually and is not affected by DAX. The functionality you expect is not available at this time.
I suggest you try the Gauge:
Or you can find whether there are some custom visuals which can meet you requirement:
