How to Hide the Top Ribbon of Commands in PowerBi.com service

I would like to hide the above command ribbon from all of our users in power.com. Seeing these commands confuses them when we talk about exporting data. I also  do not want them to be able to download a copy of the dashboard file (pbix). They are all set to be VIEWERS in all of our workspaces.

Thank you, Amine. I appreciate the advice.

I have no access to the company's AD set-up and I only have 10 users. That's why I opted to add users to the specific workspaces they are authorized to see.

Since the ribbon cannot be hidden, I have confirmed with a trusted user that VIEWERS can't see the "save a copy" option. They can see "download a copy" so I have asked that user to try downloading. I have RLS active in this dashboard so I'm testing to ensure users either can't download a copy of, if they can, that only their permissible data appears on the back end.

RLS is not meant for that, it only limits access to data like who can see what.

By default a viewer in a workspace cannot download a pbix file anyway but if you want to limit this capability then it has to be disabled at the tenant admin portal. Same for Save a copy

Hi @ninsights 

First, End users should not be added to Workspaces even as viewers. End users should consume reports and dashboards in App environment.

Second the ribbon can't be removed even in Apps and to limit access to features in power BI it is wise to AD security groups.
