Help Embedded!

Good afternoon!
Please, I have a doubt, if anyone can help, thank you:

I need to insert a report into my html portal, and the correct way to do it, from what I've read, is using Embedded!

I have a Pro license, do I need to purchase the Embedded license as well? Does the Pro license no longer include the Embedded license?

Thank you very much!

Hi @mariobatistella ,

Embed a report in a secure portal or website is not the same as Embedd analytics.

User with Pro or PPU license could use Embed a report in a secure portal feature, there are no additional charges. Secure embed is the simplest no-code way to embed a report into any portal that accepts a URL or iFrame. The viewer of the report must have the proper Power BI license. The viewer can interact with the report, but not edit, save, or make any changes to it. To view the embedded report, you need either a Power BI Pro or Premium Per User (PPU) license. Or, the content needs to be in a workspace that's in a Power BI Premium capacity (EM or P SKU).

Power BI embedded analytics gives you additional benefits over secure embed. It offers a rich, fully integrated experience with full API support, automatic authentication, and the reports can be hosted in apps as well as web pages. Embedded analytics allows you to automate the monitoring, management, and deployment of analytics, while getting full control of Power BI features and intelligent analytics.

Power BI embedded analytics requires a capacity (A, EM, P, or F SKU) in order to publish embedded Power BI content.

Capacity is a dedicated set of resources reserved for exclusive use. It offers dependable, consistent performance for your content.

Good morning!
I think I understand!

Just a doubt, now regarding the scenario I'm setting up, to understand if I'm following correctly, please:

I have a few TVs, and I want to show a different report on each TV!

As we don't publish externally, and I need you to log in automatically, I'm studying using embeeded, so I use a user just for this, using the method of getting the token, and on each TV I put my web portal, with the report I want !

That's why I made this post, to understand if I'm on the right path!

Am I following correctly?

Thank you for your attention!

Excellent!

Now I'm faced with the need to create an application within Azure Ad to be able to access the token and continue with embedded!

Please, is there a video with all the step by step for me to learn how to do this?

Thanks!

So, but does the PRO version already include embedded? Can I use?

Another doubt, if my company is using the PRO version, and I want to use the embedded link to display on TVs, within my company, can I? I wanted to use embedded because on each TV I want to show different content!

Thanks!

Pro has never included "the embedded license". The former works per user, the latter per capacity.

Pro includes the Publish to Web feature, in case your html portal is open to the public. Do not use this for private data though.

Continuing my doubt: I saw that the embedded option is released, does this mean that my license allows using Embedded? Will it cost if I use it?
Thanks!

I have the PRO license, and it's still allowing me to generate an embedded link!

If I use it, will I be charged for this use?
Wasn't this option supposed to be blocked until I buy it?

Thanks!
