Hi,
I've seen that finally there is a a field named "folderId" in the results of the Items API of a Workspace: Items - List Items - REST API (Core) | Microsoft Learn
However, I don't find anywhere a call to get the list of the folders in a Workspace (and the folder isn't an Item in the workspace either).
Any idea?
Regards
Daniele Tiles
Hi,lbendlin ,thanks for your concern about this issue.
Your answer is excellent!
And I would like to share some additional solutions below.
Hello,@daniele_tiles .I am glad to help you.
I tried the API you shared, and I found that the Microsoft Rest API seems to treat the created folders as part of the storage path of the workspace items, and not as if they existed like other items (semantic model / reports, etc).
For those stored in folders, the folderID parameter is included in their information.
You can try to follow lbendlin's suggestion to submit your idea on the Microsoft Idea site and mark your reply as a solution, which will help other users with similar needs to quickly find useful suggestions and vote for your idea.
I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,
Carson Jian
You don't get folder names but you get folder IDs
Yes, that's what I saw and wrote.
but there should be an additional API Request for decoding the folder mid, right?
