Gateway- errors. there is other solution?

Hello
I have no end problems with gateway and I didn't find any solution.

1) I have always this error:

"..gateway is offline..."

2) I tried to connect to ip or name of the error but did not get any answer

3) I opened the GWConfig.exe but or appears the message "please wait while we check a few more things" and don't allow me to proceed (even though the "next" botton is available). And only once appeared the following error:

 (one more time i tried to connect to the error but didn't responded)

4) Is there any way to refresh the data without the gateway? Like work with document in sharepoints or something.
Because if the problem persists this is not a workable solution.

@Sea_and_Anne Check out this post, it outlines how to set up the gateway and which use cases do not require a gateway. On a high level, if you store your info in the cloud you don't need a gateway to refresh your data set.

Thanks eno1978. How can i connect to the cloud? I have OneDrive, it works without gateway?

Yes, you should be able to connect directly... hmm.. (now I'm hesitating because there was an update recently that breaks anything using "web" connections and requires a gateway temporarily. See here)

Have you walked through the gateway troubleshooting? It may be worth working through the issue as opposed to working around it...
