False RLS Row-Level Security error now appearing for some users on a direct access SSAS On-Prem

Just starting today - for some users only - a report is stating a RLS permission error even though the data source is an on-prem SSAS via a gateway.  This is a report that has been working for years and has not chenged for at least 1 year and this error just starting appearing today.  It might be related to the mapped users on the gateway datasource with the latest PBI service upgrade.

Please assist or provide more details.

1. What's the error exactly? The users got wrong data or they can't access the SSAS?

2. How did you map users?
