Failed to update data source credentials: The credentials provided for the Web source are invalid.

Hello ,

I am connecting to an XML file stored in a SharePoint site.

I can successfully connect to it using the Web connector via Pbi desktop.

But once I publish the report and try to set up the Data source credentials, it fails with the following error.

'Failed to update data source credentials: The credentials provided for the Web source are invalid.'

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks ,

Shilpa

Can you try a connection via Sharepoint Folder instead and see if that makes a difference?
