External sharing datasets that use RLS.

Dear all community i think many have this problem. I'm creating some amazing reports and i like the idea that i can slice the data by responsability within the organization with RLS. Weak poin in my opinion is that every user has to have a Pro licence, that for me is no sense since i have only to share with these users a limited part of data (should be implemented something profile easy to manage just for view purposes). Even wrost is that i cannot use this feature and on line gateway if i want to share with users outside the organization. My question is: I'm missing something in the implementation of the dashboard and the sharing process? thanks in advance for your help! Zeno

You are correct. Row Level Security is Pro content. When you share your dashboard to users, they must have Pro license to view the content. See: Power BI Pro content - what is it?. And when sharing dashboard to users outside of organization, they can only view content (can't edit). See: Share a dashboard and reports with colleagues and others
