can you please help me?

Hi @BMltc ,
Thank you, would you post a picture of your excel sheet including the ribbon? I am not able to open the Excel sheet on this computer.

and this is a screenshot of what I would like (i.e. a pivot table summing value by name)
thanks

Hi @BMltc
Sorry for the delay. You are right, this is not what I would expect. However this may work for you. Go to the table and export data. Then use the Analyze button in Excel.
Let me know if you have any questions.
If this solves your issues, please mark it as the solution, so that others can find it easily. Kudos 👍are nice too.

Hi @Nathaniel_C , Thank you for your answer. unfortunately, I want to put in place a process in excel relying on updated data (as this power bi is updated on a daily basis). So I need to use the function "analyze in excel" and then refresh the pivot table when I need it.
Any tips for this solution?
Dear @Nathaniel_C
here is a screenshot of my excel resulting from the export ("analyze in Excel"). As you can see, I am not able to put the column "Value" in the "Values" field as this column is not recognized as number.
does it help you?
Dear all,
Any tips for my problem?
Boris
Hi,
thanks for your answer @Nathaniel_C
Here is my table in Power BI
NameValue
| A | 1 |
| B | 3 |
| C | 5 |
| A | 6 |
| B | 4 |
| C | 3 |
I have then tried to publish it and then analyze it in Excel. Here is the link for the excel file resulting from the export:
thank you
Hi @BMltc ,
This exports and when I do a autosum, it works in Excel.
Perhaps you can share your pbix?
If you would share your pbix, or dummy up some values in Excel both for current and expected data. Please copy and paste them into your post, rather than doing a picture, we may be able to help you.
