Export to Excel with text instead of value

Dear all,   I have a simple table with the column "Value" as decimal. I have published this report and export it into excel. This column is now a text and I can't do Sum and pivot Table ...

Sorry for the delay.  You are right, this is not what I would expect. However this may work for you.  Go to the table and export data.  Then use the Analyze button in Excel.

Hi Nathaniel_C , Thank you for your answer. unfortunately, I want to put in place a process in excel relying on updated data (as this power bi is updated on a daily basis). So I need to use the function "analyze in excel" and then refresh the pivot table when I need it. 

Any tips for this solution?
