I have an Excel file saved on Sharepoint online. This Excel file is connected to a PBI dataset and refreshes without issue in Excel desktop. I am not able to get the refresh to work when I open the Excel file in Sharepoint or in the Power BI Service (in the same workspace as the dataset).
Steps:
1. Connect Excel to PBI Dataset via Get Data > Power Platform > From Power BI (works in desktop)
2. Save to Sharepoint then upload to Power BI via Sharepoint
3. Try and adjust the pivot table when navigating to the workbook that is in the workspace:
Any advice? I'm about to open a ticket with MS. Note, I have Admin to the tenant/workspace.
Thank you
Hi @AnAnalyst ,
You can check if you don't have read access to this Excel in sharepoint.
