Error while refreshing simple dataset through Enterprise Gateway.

Hello,

When refreshing through Enterprise Gateway - I get the following error.

{"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_SpooledOperationMissing","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_SpooledOperationMissing","parameters":{},"details":[],"exceptionCulprit":1}}}

I have checked privacy, credentials - everything looks fine.

Moreover - it is refreshing through my Personal Gateway no problem!

I have opened a ticket, Microsoft are on it for 3-4 days already, I need a solution fast.

Anyone managed to solve this?

Please help!

Thank you

Michael

Hi @michaelsl ,

What's your data source?

If it is R or on script, only Personal Gateway supports for it.

If not, can other datasets be refreshed successfully with Enterprise Gateway?

If they can, please share me the error message of your simple dataset in Refresh History.

If they can't, please check if your Enterprise Gateway works well.

Please try to whitelist in your firewall the IP addresses for your data region to see if it is the cause.

You can download the Azure datacenter IP list, which is updated weekly. Or, you can get the list of required ports by performing the network ports test periodically in the gateway app.

Or, you could try to reinstall the latest version of gateway.

@Icey  Thanks!

The error message is: "There was an error when processing the data in the dataset."

And the details I put in my original post.

I am connecting to 3 data sources: SQL Server, PostgreSQL and power bi dataflows.

Each one separately works OK in the service! So this is not IP and not the connectors...

When I put them in the same dataset (even without referencing or merging), then I get the error in the service.

Looks like a bug

Please help!

Tough to say, what is it even connecting to?
