Hi @dev99 ,
Thank you fo the follow-up.I would be happy to provide more details on troubleshooting the error you are facing!

1.Ensure the on-premises data gateway is online and updated if applicable.

2.Verify that the SharePoint URL matches exactly in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, and check if the account has the required access permissions.

3.In Power BI Service ,Dataset Settings, edit and re-enter authentication details under Data Source Credentials.

4.Refresh the dataset in Power BI Desktop, save, and re-publish it to the same workspace in Power BI Service.

Hi @dev99 ,
Thank you @lbendlin for your valuable input!

As lbendlin suggested, the credentials (OAuth2 token) in the workspace, if expired or incorrect, may prevent Power BI Service from connecting to the data source. Please check and verify that the authentication method is set correctly.

If this post helps, please give us Kudos and consider Accept it as a solution to help the other members find it more quickly.

have you tried refreshing the credentials (the OAuth2 token) in the workspace for that semantic model's connections ?
