Error on adding a File Path to the Data Gatway: Wrong Parameter

Greetings,

we are getting an Error on adding a File Path to the Data Gateway. Does anyone know what the error “Wrong parameter” means?

Data source settings, path and user data have been checked. Other file links in the gateway work perfectly.

Path looks like this: 

\\domain.de\folder\folder\folder\folder\Zeitposten_Nummernbereich.xlsx

Die Verbindung konnte aus folgendem Grund nicht hergestellt werden: Es gab einen Fehler auf dem Datengateway.

Details: Gateway on SVR-.... : Falscher Parameter.

Hi @PD_pre ,

You can try restarting the gateway and then trying to create the data source definition again.

Alternatively, you can try uninstalling and trying again after reinstalling and reinstalling the latest version of the data gateway.

It seems that power bi requests are not realised to your gateway, please double check your database and gateway status.
