I have read about the benefits of Large dataset storage format and I'm in Premium Capacity so I can switch to that. My issue is when I'm opening the PowerBI reports (there are also others who reported this), it takes 2-4 minutes to load the report. We have more than 10 reports in the workspace and our data is 3 years only (though millions of records). So I'm thinking deeply if we have to switch from small to large dataset in PowerBI service and if this could help our issue. BUT my only hesitation is the limitation I read on this:
Download to Power BI Desktop: If a dataset is stored on Premium Files, downloading as a .pbix file will fail.
Large datasets in Power BI Premium - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
We still need to download pbix because we sometimes make changes on the report.
Can someone provide inputs and feedback on this?
